Two jury sessions took place in December to decide which designs would be shortlisted for a live presentation. Juri members included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ms Shweta Manchanda, School of Planning and Architecture (SPA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ms Yogini Patel, UK Passivhaus Trust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ms Shatakshi Suman, Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Saurabh Diddi, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Edward Lowes, the Passive House Institute (PHI)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Vikash Ranjan, Pledge4Earth (P4E)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Four designs were finally shortlisted. These were submitted by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vke-environmental.com\/newsite2019\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">VK:e environmental<\/mark><\/a>, <\/strong>&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lcsind.org\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">LEAD Consultancy and Engineering Services<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biome-solutions.com\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">BIOME<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/monkspaces.com\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">Monk Spaces<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. Each design exhibited distinct characteristics, showcasing a wide range of creativity and innovation, and all demonstrated a high level of ambition in both aesthetic quality and technical detailing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Winning submission by <a href=\"VK:e environmental\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">VK:e environmental<\/mark><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The winning design, submitted by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vke-environmental.com\/newsite2019\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">VK:e environmental<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>, stood out for its optimal balance between eye-catching architectural design, construction detailing, and for its potential to be replicated for mass-housing projects in India&#8217;s growing urban areas. The organisers would like to convey their gratitude to all participants for their engagement and hard work in providing their designs, as well as to the juri members for the interesting debate.
